“Each year at DSE, they award the best in ground-breaking creative projects, and I’m honored to have been recognized,” says Brown. “We always aim to bring a unique design approach to each project that not only meets the customer’s technical and branding requirements, but will engage the audience to produce true return on investment for the client. Working with WITCC, we had a terrific opportunity to incorporate our expertise in both traditional visual communications and wayfinding techniques.”
WITCC wanted both traditional digital signage and interactive wayfinding in a single design for 13 displays and one video wall placed throughout their five core buildings near main entrances. The objective was to provide daily announcements with an option for interactive wayfinding to save time and effort for students and visitors, as well as alleviating the burden on their information desk. Visix created a branded layout with a hot spot that switches to a custom interactive wayfinding map, as well as coordinated content layouts and message backgrounds for the traditional content.
The annual Digital Signage Expo Content Awards honor innovative and compelling content created for digital signage and digital out-of-home networks. All nominated content will be judged on the following criteria: creative relevance, production quality and intended mission.
