ATLANTA, GA – May 6, 2014 – Visix, Inc. Creative Services has received three Communicator Awards and three Hermes Creative Awards for their interactive wayfinding designs for digital signage. Both awards were announced last week and bring the total number of awards and honors for the team to 45.

This recognition from such esteemed design and communications professionals is very fulfilling and motivating for our team.”
The Communicator Awards is an annual competition sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts honoring the best in advertising, corporate communications, public relations and identity work for print, video, interactive and audio.
Brion Long, Multimedia Designer for Visix, received Communicator Awards of Distinction for his Neosho County Community College interactive wayfinding design and his touchscreen Twitter Board for University of Michigan. Robert Brown, Multimedia Designer for Visix, also received a Communicator Award of Distinction for his interactive wayfinding and matching digital signage theme for Western Iowa Tech Community College.

Hermes Design Awards
Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies.
Dwayne Johnson, Multimedia Designer for Visix, received a Platinum Hermes Award for his Virginia Commonwealth University interactive wayfinding design, as well as a Gold Hermes Award for interactive wayfinding for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana. Brion Long also received a Gold Hermes Award for his interactive wayfinding design for ChemMedix Pharmaceuticals.
