Digital signage software company sees impressive growth in creative revenues and expands award-winning team.
ATLANTA, GA – May 8, 2012– Visix, Inc. is honored to receive four 2012 Communicator Awards for their interactive wayfinding and video designs, three of which were in the Education category. The winners were announced by the International Academy of the Visual Arts on April 30, 2012.
Dwayne Johnson, Designer for Visix Creative Services received an Award of Excellence for his Dartmouth College interactive wayfinding design, and Awards of Distinction for Colorado State University Pueblo and Gateway Technical College interactive designs. He also received an Award of Distinction for the company’s AxisTV Digital Signage Software Training Introduction Video. The Visix team has a total of 16 awards in communications and design, including six Emmys and five Telly Awards.

Visix’s Creative Services has seen a 150% increase in projects received in the most recent quarter, compared to the same period last year. In response, the company has hired Jill Biazzo as Creative Services Project Manager, and plans to rapidly expand its design team in the coming months.
Biazzo oversees all creative service projects for Visix including quoting, client consultation and overall project management. She works with a team of designers and contractors to develop and expand Visix’s creative product offering, and also spearheads Visix social media efforts. She has over ten years of experience in marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois.
“Creative is the fastest growing part of our business and we have a lot of great new creative products coming out this year,” says Biazzo. “Our clients realize that software alone won’t make their communications effective – employing our design talent and expertise ensures that their system looks great the day it launches. I’m excited to be joining Visix as they evolve to provide comprehensive visual communications services.”
In addition to taking on more full-time designers, Visix is launching a summer internship program for students of multimedia design at the Atlanta branch of the Savannah College of Art and Design and the Art Institute of Atlanta. Students interested in applying should contact email@example.com.
