The Hitachi Large Venue/Professional “8000” LCD Projectors Series, has been awarded the iF Product Design Award 2013.
The “iF Design Award” is one of the most renowned international design awards, established in 1953 in Germany. The award has become an international benchmark for outstanding design. An iF Product Design Award is a symbol of a product’s superior quality and design excellence. The award’s evaluation criteria include not only design quality and innovation but also functionality, ergonomics and quality control, etc. assessing the total quality of products. The Award has three categories: iF Product Design Award, iF Communication Design Award, and iF Packaging Design Award, covers a broad range of products. This year 4,352 entries from 51 countries and regions worldwide were accepted, and 1,410 products were awarded.
Hitachi’s LCD projector “8000 series” are high luminance projector models which are able to project high definition images onto big screens in large conference spaces, despite the levels of all other light sources present in the room. This projector range was also designed for easy maintenance and ease of installation through a slimmer and more compact body.
