Visix Creative Services Wins Two Hermes Awards and Four Communicator Awards

Creative team for digital signage software company receives honors for interactive wayfinding designs.

ATLANTA, GA – May 2, 2013– Visix, Inc. is honored to receive four Communicator Awards and two Hermes Creative Awards for their interactive wayfinding and multimedia designs for digital signage. The awards were announced this week and bring the total number of awards and honors for Visix Creative Services team to 32.

Dwayne Johnson, Designer for Visix Creative Services, received Communicator Silver Awards of Distinction for his Harvard University, San Diego Miramar College and University of Iowa interactive wayfinding designs. He also received a Communicator Silver Award of Distinction and a Platinum Hermes Creative Award for his virtual aquarium design for Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital. Robert Brown, Visix Creative Content Artist, received a Gold Hermes Creative Award for his interactive multimedia design for the College of Saint Rose.

“It’s exciting for us to be recognized for our ongoing efforts to grow our creative offerings and satisfy customers’ needs,” says Jill Perardi, Creative Services Project Manager. “Our team creates every interactive project from scratch, folding in both technical and design elements with a goal of exceeding the client’s expectations every time. Our project load has increased 300% in the last six months, so we’re thrilled that the work is being honored by creative experts. It’s an additional incentive for our busy design team.”

 

The 2013 Communicator Awards received over 6000 entries from ad agencies, interactive agencies, production ?rms, in-house creative professionals, graphic designers, design ?rms, and public relations ?rms. The annual competition honors the best in advertising, corporate communications, public relations and identity work for print, video, interactive and audio. The Hermes Awards competition has grown to one of the largest of its kind in the world. A look at the winners shows a range in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies. The competition is so well thought of in the industry that national public relations organizations, local ad clubs, and local business communicator chapters are entrants.
