MAHWAH, NJ, December 17, 2013 – Sharp Electronics Corporation announced that John Sheehan has joined Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA) as Associate Vice President, Pro AV/IT sales.  In this new role, John will lead the sales efforts for Sharp Reseller and Distribution channels.  His key responsibilities include formulating and implementing strategic sales and operating plans to increase sales, market share and profitability in support of SIICA’s business objectives. 

John comes to SIICA with an extensive background in the professional display segment, with more than 17 years of experience in sales and marketing management positions at NEC and LG.  Most recently, he served as Senior Director of Sales for NEC Display Solutions, where he oversaw daily operations and long term growth of a $450M hardware business.

Sheehan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Western Illinois University.
